Analysis of Operational Results in PWE Field (ROP Optimization)

The provided chart and constructed table illustrate the significant rate of penetration (ROP) improvements achieved by Zagros Drilling Company’s software in the PYW-034 well, compared to the best-performing well, PYW-033, over a 250-meter interval from 2100m to 2350m in the Paydar WE field.

Table Insights: PYW-034 achieved a drilling time of 112.50 hours with an average ROP of 2.22 m/hr, marking a 59.7% improvement over PYW-033’s 180 hours and 1.39 m/hr. This enhancement reflects the software’s ability to optimize drilling parameters, even under RPM and WOB limitations, without requiring additional equipment.

Chart Insights: The ROP vs. depth plot highlights this success, with the blue line (PYW-034 Optimized Well – ZDOC) maintaining a higher and more consistent ROP trajectory (up to 16 m/hr) compared to the scattered performance of other wells (PYW-014 to PYW-033). The optimized PYW-034 well’s steady upward trend, despite a noted RPM & WOB limitation, underscores the software’s real-time adjustments and risk mitigation strategies. The chart notes a 43.75% ROP improvement compared to the best well, 51.6% over the best well (regardless of the 17 meters with limited parameters), and a remarkable 126.6% improvement over the field average of 2.14 m/hr.

Overall, this operational project in the Paydar WE field showcases our platform’s transformative impact, leveraging advanced analytics, hydraulic optimization, and Scientific Optimization to boost ROP by up to 59.7% compared to the best well, setting a new efficiency standard even under constrained conditions.
